The New Orleans Saints continued their offseason makeover of their linebacker corps. They have signed former Seattle Seahawks linebacker David Hawthorne to a five-year deal, according to Saints spokesman Greg Bensel. The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms on a three-year-contract with former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Will Herring, according to agent George Mavrikes. Drew Brees couldn’t quite put Saturday’s season-ending loss in perspective, and you couldn’t quite blame him for it. It’s been two years since the New Orleans Saints’ season ended in this fashion.
