Report: Chris Paul Wants Out Of New Orleans; Knicks, Lakers, Magic On His List
SportingNews

Hornets point guard Chris Paul(notes) wants to be traded to the Knicks, Lakers or Magic before the start of the season, CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger reports.
"He wants out," Berger quotes a source who has been briefed on Paul’s strategy. "He wants to play with another superstar. He wants to follow LeBron (James’) model of teaming up with other great players."
The source spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the matter.
Berger also reports people in Paul’s camp have told NBA sources that "He’s not going to start the season in New Orleans," and that people in his "inner circle" have told the Hornets of his desire to be traded. Paul reportedly is dissatisfied with the team’s direction and wants it to do more to win now.
Earlier this month, Paul said at Carmelo Anthony’s(notes) wedding that he’d like to form his own Big 3 in New York with Anthony and newly signed Amar’e Stoudemire(notes).

Its been my experience that sports fans in this area will always stand by the players that stand by them. And they really don't spend too much time mourning those that don't. So Chris Paul, if you don't want to be here, get to steppin.
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I'm out of control and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

I'm not even a Hornets fan but these whole "I wanna play with another superstar" is getting annoying, they obviously don't have the drive to lead a team themselves like the LEGENDS before them did. It's just getting annoying (as stated before)

Or even better than that...............deal with it for 2 more years and shut his face. You are NOT a free agent CP3. Hell, did he even play last year??? Maybe instead of crying about wanting to leave........try to get a friend or two to come to the Easy and win. Is there a better place to win? He could be the Brees of the Hornets if he won here.

Chris Paul says he's never been able to envision playing somewhere else besides New Orleans
John Reid, The Times Picayune
New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul spoke publicly for the first time in several weeks at his basketball camp and confirmed his meeting on Monday with Hornets General Manager Dell Demps, coach Monty Williams and team president Hugh Weber went well.
Scott Threlkeld, The Times-PicayuneChris Paul did not speculate about his NBA future.
I stay committed to the city of New Orleans, but like Mr. Demps said we want to keep some of the stuff private, Paul said.
Despite swirling trade rumors, Demps said Paul did not make a trade request during Mondays meeting. Paul, who tried to keep most of the questions centered on his basketball camp, said he has never been able to envision playing for another team.
However, Pauls agent, Leon Rose, has gauged the interest of the New York Knicks, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic, who all could be interested in making a deal to obtain Paul.
Ive had the opportunity to meet coach (Williams) once and I really have the utmost respect, Paul said. He has a lot of great things in store and Im exicted about whats ahead.''

And the public relations machine grinds away....
Notice that no matter who is interviewed, there's always the "There are some things we want to keep private" line? Why even say that? All it does is fuel speculation, and keep interest high.
