Uh, Joe, you are retarded. Unless he runs a 4.3 or something he won't get drafted any higher than the third round IMO. Dude, was overrated coming out of high school and hasn't done a damn thing since he's been at USC.

Less to do with talent than with the rats jumping ship.

Yep. I don't think he's even a 2nd or 3rd round guy...no where near it. If I owned a team, or ran a team, I wouldn't draft him with the last pick in the draft. He was supposed to be the next coming of Bush, and he's barely shown anything similar. Plus he's ALWAYS hurt. If he does get drafted, I don't expect him to stick around the league for very long. The worst of all the USC backs (that actually got playing time) of the Carroll era, in my opinion.

um..he shared the ball with 2 other guys and still had 1,000 yards season...go look at his stats..he was pretty good...he wasn't what reggie was at usc, but who is/will be? that not drafting him with the last pick in the whole draft bs is just jibberish....the man has talent...just not reggie bush at usc talent...hey..i wanted the dude to go to LSU too, but just like peyton and eli ,he didn't..i don't hate him for that...it disapointed me ,yeah..but not even drafted? com on man!!!

I'm not saying he has no talent, but everything else just adds up to him not being a worthwhile NFL player, in my opinion. He's not the highlight reel he was supposed to be, he won't take a hit, and when he does, he almost always seems to think he's hurt, and he's not someone you can convert to receiver. When I said he's ALWAYS hurt, I didn't mean he misses a lot of games, but he is ALWAYS pulling himself off the field because he thinks he's hurt.

Someone will draft him. He does have some talent. I just wouldn't. It didn't translate to what it was supposed to in college, so why would it in the pros?

kinda agree with both sides of the argument here... he gets alot of bad press here because he spurned LSU for USC, and that kinda rubbed alot of people in this state the wrong way... he was supposed be another Reggie Bush, but was nothing like the former Trojan...

as big an LSU fan as I am, and trust me, my love for the Tigers runs VERY, VERY deep, i don't have anything against McKnight... i hope he has a good, healthy, long career in the NFL... i am grateful, however, for his contributions to the problems at USC...

This. USC lost Carroll and many assistants. Lots of players don't want to be there when USC gets slammed by the NCAA. USC is going to most likely suck next year.

Chris Johnson had almost 3,000 total yards his last season of college, ran the fastest 40 at the combine, and got drafted in the first round. I have no idea what you're talking about or where the comparison is.

he had a nice SENIOR season playing in CONFERENCE-USA.....and that's almost 2,000 total yards not 3,000

[edit] 2004 season
Chris Johnson enrolled at East Carolina University in 2004. Johnson made an immediate impact in all 11 games, as he eventually started 7 games on the season. He finished the season on the Conference USA All-Freshman squad as a running back. He recorded a reception in 10 straight games which was a team-best. He finished the season with 561 yards rushing and 765 yards on kick returns for 1,562 all-purpose

[edit] 2005 season
After his memorable freshman season, Johnson started all 11 games at tailback in his sophomore season. He led the team with 684 yards on 176 carries and six touchdowns, while also recording 35 receptions for 356 yards and two scores and 459 kickoff return yards. He was also the team leader with 1,499 all-purpose yards

[edit] 2006 season

Johnson returned in his junior season with 972 all-purpose yards. In the down season, Johnson totaled 314 rushing yards, 176 receiving yards, and 482 kickoff return yards

he was only suppose to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick until he turned in that blazing 40 time

now look at joe mcknights 1st 3 years and joe is reported to run a 4.3 in the 40

2009 164 1014 6.2 548 221466.624000

their offensive stats looks pretty damn close to me, seeing as joe didn't kick return...and is skipping his senior season

Loads of talent, fragile, and he never lived up to his hype. That said, I think he'd make a nice mid round pick for someone and could become an excellent third down back in the league.
Romeus will be Kiwanuka lite.
